http://petfriendlyrentals.co.nz/TuiCynic.jpg
Sadly, I am constantly shocked at the extreme shallowness of man once it is put to him that through some small efforts he can save the world, but at the expense of his lavish fat filled diet. Its almost like going up to Macdonalds and saying "do the right thing. Close your doors" It just seems so unfathomable to everyday people to stop funding this multi tiered decline in ecology and morality, and simply change their lifestyle. The capacity for non-empathy is astounding when discussing or even hinting at dietary choice as a way of expressing action to create a more reasonable world, for human and non-human. It feels so offensive to the offender to be brought to attention of their actions. Its such hard work getting though.
Thanks for the article-I'm really sorry to hear about the badgers, I have friends there fighting this for months now, how sad.. TB is spread by farm animal overstocking, and animals forced to live in their own filth.
